The story starts when the Mayan calandar ends, that's what... Next week? Maybe we should be buying ammo instead of games. One character can use every weapon & skill in the game, and you can dodge attacks. Main reason I didn't push it on you guys is there's only two months' worth of content.
Rat has been hounding me to play SWTOR since beta, now that it's completely free (even client) I had to give in. We're FREAK SQUAD on Jedi Covenant server. I'm playing a big black trooper named Beere. Raz and Durgo are in too. I grew up on Star Trek, so light sabers just seem silly. The assault rifle in TSW is much more fun, but much twitchier & beer spillier. That said I'm going to go shoot some evil droids.
Unfortunately FTP is really crippled with SWTOR; if I started it up I think I'd lose every useful item I had.
Running to max on SWTOR is only about 2 months content as well (if you don't rush it).
If you get into TSW I'll be there for pre-planned romps. Looks like if you buy the game ($30) you get everything in it at the time un-crippled. Don't take my word I'm only skimming. Bandwidth must be cheap in Norway; I think that's where they are, the international credit card hits are always fun.
It doesn't matter what server (Dimension) you're on, can group with friends on any server.
Yeah SWTOR is nasty free, reduced XP and can't even run gotta walk until level 15.
