Neises.com is not worth spamming

 dumb site for boobs, yet I see no boobs no mo!      WAIT! HARK!  Who is that I see ... damn mirror!  

It was getting a bit much every time I pulled up the web site ... right there, in your face ... YIKES.  course now that those pics are gone, I want to see them again.  Obviously, I have not been here in quite a while as those posts were modified early last month.  Been busy quittin one job and startin a new one at the same place as Yoko.  Travel, travel, travel ... on the move again next week.  Quality time in the car with Yoko, lucky me.  

So tons of stuff has been happening.  EDS got bought out by HP a little over a year ago.  At the time, it was "Thank God! It cannot be any worse."  Well, how wrong I was.  Dilbert has nothing on HP, and in fact, if Scott Adams reads this, I have some material for him.   I actually thought about getting out of IT altogether.  Things are just not what they used to be. 

 Compared to the other crap you've heard from me it's pretty happy anyway.

So after putting it off for 2 weekends in a row, (because of the weatherman's threat of storms) last weekend I finally tried my hand at water-proofing my basement. Saturday morning we started digging around the foundation with a Terramite rented from Art's.

After digging approx. 8 feet down we decide that the "footer" did not exist and I began to power wash the dirt from the foundation. To my dismay most of the mortar, if indeed there was ever any applied in 1910, was gone. This was a good indication to why my basement was always in general stages of damp to flooded. The original plan called for the use of a tar on the foundation.
